Read that again.

The Industrial Wellness Complex would have us believe that we are broken. That our best selves are just moments away, if only we can commit to the right product, path or programme. 

That our highest selves are attainable if we stretch and breathe and move and meditate our way toward them.

That we need to slot solutions into the chinks of our selves.

This is a LIE.

You, just as you are, right now, are complete. 

There is no ‘future version’ of you that will replace this one. 

You are ever-growing, shifting, cycling, being. You do not need to BECOME anyone or anything.

I’ve been away from social media for a couple of months, getting very clear on what my purpose here is - and if indeed, being here serves any greater purpose at all.

I believe it does. I know that women are often mistreated, underestimated, belittled and diminished in this world, and I believe that the multi-billion pound Wellness industry is part of that problem.

And that coming from a wellbeing editor, author & practitioner.

Herein, I get clear.

To commune not consume 

Inspire not aspire 

Champion over comparison 

I believe that the most powerful thing we as women can do is to reclaim and re-member our innate WELLBEING. 

To own our own bodies. To know our own minds. To stop giving our sovereignty away - to a broken big-Pharma-funded medical system, to a corrupt multi-billion-pound wellness industry that preys on insecurity, to toxic productivity-driven patriarchal society that will drive us into the ground & bleed us dry.

To KNOW deep in every cell that you are WHOLE. Not a problem in need of some costly solution.

A whole soul within a beautiful body.

This is the beginning of a journey to support any woman who gets through the rigged algorithms & lands here. 

To tell it as it is. To champion natural modes of wellbeing that are free, abundant & just. To remind YOU day after day, that you’re not broken. You are your best thing. Don’t let anyone take that from you.
